A Destination Baseball Tournament on the Georgia Coast
The Southern Sports Promotions Coastal World Series brings youth travel baseball teams to coastal Georgia for a championship tournament experience in the Brunswick and St. Simons Island area.
Scheduled for June 24–27, 2027, the event combines competitive travel baseball with the opportunity for players, coaches and families to enjoy one of Georgia's best-known coastal destinations.
Games are scheduled to be played at the Adam Wainwright Stadium facility (routinely voted as the top high school baseball complex in Georgia), North Glynn Athletic Complex, and/or Mallery Park.
For coaches planning their summer schedule, the Coastal World Series offers a chance to compete for a championship while giving families a destination they can enjoy beyond the ballfield.
Southern Sports Promotions has been hosting youth travel baseball tournaments since 2002, with an emphasis on offering different levels of competition and providing coaches with tournament options that fit their teams.

Coaches should be prepared to play Thursday at 10 a.m. and should check the official schedule for their team's assigned fields and game times.
Coastal World Series Baseball Facilities
The Coastal World Series uses baseball facilities in the Brunswick and St. Simons Island area, giving participating teams a chance to experience different venues during their championship weekend.
North Glynn Athletic Complex
North Glynn Athletic Complex features eight baseball fields, including four with grass infields. The complex also offers picnic areas, a lake for fishing and kayaking, walking trails and open spaces where families can relax between games.
Adam Wainwright Stadium
Adam Wainwright Stadium is one of the signature baseball facilities associated with the Coastal World Series. The field was created in large part through the involvement of St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright and was recognized by the Georgia Dugout Club.

One of the advantages of playing in the Coastal World Series is the opportunity to explore the Georgia coast when your team isn't on the field.
Visit St. Simons Island
Explore the island's village, shops, restaurants and waterfront areas. The St. Simons Pier and nearby village are popular stops for visitors.
Enjoy the Beach
Families can plan time at the beach around their team's game schedule. Check local beach access, parking and conditions before heading out.
Explore Jekyll Island
Jekyll Island offers beaches, biking and other outdoor activities within the coastal area. It can be a good option for families extending their trip beyond tournament hours.
Eat and Explore in Brunswick
Brunswick offers additional dining and shopping options and can be a convenient base for teams playing at nearby facilities.
Plan Your Team's Stay
This is a stay-to-play event. Any team traveling over 75 miles to play IS REQUIRED to stay in one of the tournament hotels. The majority of area hotels and resorts will be options for teams.
If a team chooses to opt out of the "stay to play" program (and make their own reservations), there will be a $250 per team fee to opt out, with no exceptions.
When we designed this tournament, we tried to make the entry fee as inexpensive as possible. Most teams will need lodging for this event, so by using a travel partner, this was a way to reduce the entry fee. But we understand that some teams will want to rent homes, use hotel points, etc., so that's why we offer both.
A team will have considered meeting this requirement by booking 35 rooms (12 rooms a night x 3 nights).
We will determine final age groups by May 25. Do not book anything that doesn't allow you to cancel your rooms without a fee prior to that date.
